On October 6 and 7, 2026, the second Transnational Partner Meeting of the European project AI-Acting in Adult Education (AAA) took place in Athens (Greece). Over two days of joint collaboration, seamlessly hosted and organized by our partners at ReadLab, the project consortium gathered to review progress, coordinate the current phase, and map out upcoming milestones through January 2027.
The meeting was attended by representatives from all partner organizations: die Berater (project coordinator), ReadLab, Syncnify, Headway, FIPL, and CESGA.
Key Focus Areas of the Meeting
The main goal of this TPM (Transnational Partner Meeting) was to align technical, methodological, and management strategies to maximize the project’s impact on Artificial Intelligence training for adult education.
1. Progress & Quality Assurance (WP1 & WP2)
The first day opened with an overview of general management and project coordination led by die Berater, followed by presentations from Syncnify on quality assurance (WP1) as well as the translation and publication status of materials developed under WP2.
2. Co-creation & Focus Groups (WP3)
Led by Headway, a significant portion of day one focused on WP3. Discussions covered the implementation timeline for focus groups, the synthesis report drafting, and co-creation dynamics designed to refine the training needs of adult education educators and learners.
3. Dissemination & Communication (WP5)
To conclude the first session, FIP and die Berater presented dissemination progress, social media strategies, upcoming newsletters, and preparations for final project events.
CESGA’s Role & Curriculum Design (WP4)
The second day, held on October 7, was fully dedicated to WP4, co-coordinated by ReadLab and CESGA:
- Curriculum Design & Interactive Resources: We outlined the core modular framework for the courses and defined the creation of interactive learning resources tailored to adult education.
- Trainer Handbook & Platform Architecture: Progress was made on drafting the Trainer Handbook, a cornerstone guide for educators in practical implementation, and we agreed on the underlying technical infrastructure to power the learning platform.
Next Steps Towards 2027
The meeting concluded with a planning session led by the coordinating team at die Berater, establishing a detailed schedule of deliverables, responsibilities, and key tasks for the coming months.
We extend our warm thanks to ReadLab for their wonderful hosting in Athens, as well as to all consortium partners for a highly productive collaboration. We keep moving forward to integrate AI into adult education in an accessible, rigorous way!
