Erasmus+ AAA (AI-Acting) Project Kick-Off Meeting Held: Boosting Responsible AI in Adult Education
The project “AI Act(ing) in Adult Education” (AAA), a Cooperation Partnership funded by the Erasmus+ programme, has as its main objective to enhance Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy among adult educators.
The initiative seeks to provide professionals with the necessary skills to integrate AI responsibly into their teaching methods. With this, AAA supports the digital transformation of the sector by offering practical training, a guide to good practices on the ethical and responsible use of AI, and interactive learning resources. A key focus is promoting critical thinking about AI ethics, bias, and data privacy.
To formally launch this collaboration, the Kick-Off Meeting was held on November 25th and 26th in Vienna.
The project is the result of a transnational collaboration between six organisations expert in adult education, technology, and innovation:
- DIE BERATER UNTERNEHMENSBERATUNGS GESELLSCHAFT MBH (Austria, applicant organisation)
- SYNCNIFY (France)
- RESEARCH INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT LAB PRIVATE COMPANY (Greece)
- FUNDACION PUBLICA GALLEGA CENTRO TECNOLOGICO DE SUPERCOMPUTACION DE GALICIA (Spain)
- FUTURE IN PERSPECTIVE LIMITED (Ireland)
- Headway Consulting Group SRL (Belgium)
Representatives from each of the participating organisations (all experts in adult education, technology, and innovation) met to align the project’s vision. The working agenda allowed for establishing the foundations of financial and quality management, defining user profiles, and carrying out the detailed planning of all Work Packages (WP1 to WP5). This transnational collaboration is essential to ensure a significant impact on adult education across Europe.
